Government of India, Ministry of Defence, The Commandant, 223 ABOD, PIN-901197, C/O 56 APO invites applications from eligible candidates for the Group 'C' Posts of Mazdoor, Lister Driver, Tentmender, LDC, Cook, Tailor & Upholster.

(A). Mazdoor (26 Posts Gen-16,OBC-10)

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent. 

Age Limit: 18-25 Years, Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.

Essential: Physical Fitness - Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the test specified below (a) Passing a timed run (b) Physical endurance tests (c) Passing of Written Test

Endurance Test: To carry a bundle of 50 kgs fro a distance of 150 meters.

Note: 1 Post is reserved for Sports person, 2 Posts for Ex-Servicemen and 1 Post for PH. 

(B). Lister Driver (1 Post SC-1)

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent

Age Limit: 18-30 Years, Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.

Essential:

1. Knowledge of driving Fork Lifter, 

2. Individual should be in possession of Heavy duty driving licence.

(C). Tentmender (7 Posts Gen-4,OBC-3)

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent

Age Limit: 18-25 Years, Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.

Essential:  Knowledge of repairing the Tents 

(D) Lower Division Clerk - LDC (4 Posts Gen-2,OBC-2)

Pay Scale: PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

Age Limit: 18 to 25 years, Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.

Qualification: 12th Class or Matriculation or equivalent qualification from any recognized Board or University.

Essential: Minimum Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer. Skill test will be taken on Computer / Typewriter.

Selection Procedure: The selection of candidates will be short listed for written test / interview based on marks obtained in the minimum educational qualifications.

(E). Cook (1 Post Gen-1)

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent

Age Limit: 18-25 Years, Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.

Essential: Experience for preparation / cooking of various type of dishes

(F) Tailor (1 Post OBC-1)

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

Age Limit: 18-28 Years, Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.

Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognized University/Board.

Essential: Certificate in trade of Tailor from ITI or equivalent diploma or a certificate from a recognized Institute.

(G) Upholoster (1 Post OBC-1)

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

Age Limit: 18-28 Years, Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.

Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent. 

Essential:

1. Certificate in trade from from ITI or equivalent diploma or a certificate from a recognized Institute.

2. Three years training and or experience of actual work in the trade.

Note:

1. Physical Tests/Written Test/ Interview for all categories will be intimated in CALL LETTERS.

2. Applications are invited on plain paper duly typed on neatly handwritten.

3. Copies of certificate pertaining to Academic & Professional qualification, Date of Birth, Cast certificate, Domicile certificate, Medical certificate from a registered Medical Practitioner for physical standards duly attested by a Gazetted Officer must be enclosed with the application.

4. Application will be accepted only through Registered Post only.

5. Depot will not be responsible for any postal delay.

6. One Photo should be pasted in application with attested by Gazetted Officer/Notary Public.

7. Envelope should be clearly marked Application for the Post of ..................with categories.

8. Candidates will enclose a self addressed envelope affixed with Rs.22/- postage stamps should be attached along with the application.
